Grand Slam eBook Just 99c/p! #sale #bookboost

Hi everyone,

I’m delighted to announce that Lily and I have put the eBook version of Grand Slam on SALE! To celebrate the Australian Open, we thought it’d be good to have Travis and the gang reduced to a bargain price of just 99c/p. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your copy pronto – the sale is only on this week!

Blurb:

California had seduced me with promises of a new life working at Los Carlos Tennis Academy. What I didn’t expect was the dark, brooding number one seed, Travis Connolly, resisting my help. He wasn’t interested in my psychology skills. Instead his attention was drawn to the edgy, sharper corners of my desires, proving that they existed, setting me challenges and driving me crazy to the point of combustion.

I’m the best tennis player in the world—officially—so why would I need a damn woman full of psychobabble to get me on form? Despite my irritation, however, I can’t resist pushing Marie Sherratt’s buttons even though doing that shows her the darkest shades of my lust, the parts of me I buried deep. So I set her a challenge, one she rises to, one that has me rising too, and before long my game relies on her calling the shots, hitting the target and bending to my will. One thing was certain, being not just master of the court, but also of Marie is seriously good for my soul.

A Fantastic Review for Grand Slam!

Grand SlamLily and I are delighted to have received this amazing review for Grand Slam, from Sinful Press.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with Grand Slam as I’m not a big sports fan, but I wanted to give it a go as limiting reading material based on personal interests can mean missing out on some great books.

Grand Slam is a M/F BDSM novel written from the first person perspective of the two main characters, Marie Sherratt and Travis Connolly. Marie is a sports psychologist and Travis, a world class tennis player, is her patient, and while both characters are stereotypically beautiful, their personalities are intelligent and complex. I loved the psychology aspect as the therapy sessions allowed an insight into the characters that would have felt forced in any other interaction, but they were also used as a stepping stone to a more personal relationship rather than being the main focus of the story.

The dialogue, both internal and external, is natural, and the writing styles of each author fit together seamlessly to create an easy to read novel that pulled me into the story rather than leaving me watching from the outside.

And, of course, as an erotic novel, the sex has to be good. And it is. Lily Harlem and Lucy Felthouse pull out all the stops to create believable sex scenes, both from a visual perspective and an emotional one. Their attention to detail is fantastic, and the result is a novel that will leave you hot and bothered and desperate for more.

No book is perfect, but my only criticism with this novel is that I personally don’t like first person narratives told by more than one character as it is easy to forget whose viewpoint you’re seeing. Saying that, it only took a few chapters before I got into the flow of it.

My final thoughts are that I am happily surprised to have enjoyed a sports themed erotic story, that I will definitely read more by both of these authors, and that I will ……. this novel to all of my friends.

While I was given this novel for free to review, I will happily spend money on both of these authors from now on. Lucy Felthouse and Lily Harlem, keep up the great work.

Five Stars for Grand Slam!

Just in… this awesome review of Grand Slam:

My expectations were high as this book is written by two of my most favourite authors and boy were those expectations reached and surpassed. This is a beautifully written book with exciting and interesting characters. Travis is a top tennis star but is he still on form following an accident? Marie is the no-nonsense feisty psychologist tasked with getting into his head to find out. Travis takes Marie into the deepest, darkest parts of himself and shows her what pleasure can really be. I loved the story, took the characters to my heart and fanned myself regularly at the intensely hot sexual experiences. These fantastic writers constantly impress me.

Mid Week Tease: “It was in that moment that I decided I had the serious hots for Nadia Gorlando.” #MWTease

MWTease151

The Australian Open is under way, which is why I thought I’d join in with the Mid Week Tease and share a snippet from my F/F sports erotic romance, Sweet Spot. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

Nadia chuckled. “Of course not. He may be coaching Travis Connolly and Rufus Lampani for the US Open, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to clean up his mess.” She pointed with her chin over to the machine Peter had just vacated. “Come on, V, I’ll show you how I’m going to deal with this.”

I followed her, grinning. Her tone told me that it was going to be something fun. Well, for us, anyway. Probably not for Peter.

Sure enough, when she returned from the room off the side of the gym, she had a pad of paper and a pen in her hands. Deliberately shielding the pad from my view, she wrote something down, then pulled off the top sheet. Folding it, she then propped it on the sweat-slicked seat so the writing was on view to anyone who happened past.

When I’d read and absorbed the words, I turned to Nadia, impressed. Her smile lit up her face, showing dimples in each cheek, and her brown eyes gleamed with amusement.

It was in that moment that I decided I had the serious hots for Nadia Gorlando.

The sign read,

PLEASE EXCUSE THE STATE OF THIS MACHINE. PETER ROSS, TENNIS COACH SUPREMO, “LOST TRACK OF TIME”.
